Pokemon Type Guide

Each Pokemon type has a specific type of exercise. To catch them or level them up, you'll need to do an exercise of that type. These are just the general guidelines, so feel free to substitute exercises as needed. Obviously, not everyone has access to a pool or a skating rink. Some alternates are suggested as well, but feel free to come up with your own!

Normal: Walking

Fire: Running/jogging

Grass: Squats, lunges. Alternates - eat your veggies

Water: Swimming. Alternates - walking in the rain, staying hydrated

Electric: Biking, rollerblading, or any other exercise with wheels.

Flying: Dancing

Rock: Hiking

Ground: Push-ups, planks, etc

Steel: Ab exercises

Fighting: Martial arts, boxing.

Ice: Ice skating, skiing or snowboarding. Alternates - getting out and exercising in the snow/cold

Poison: Stairs. Alternate - eating healthy

Bug: Sprints

Dark: Weight lifting. Alternate - exercise at night

Psychic: Yoga

Fairy: Jump rope

Ghost: Balance

Dragon: Combination
